hi, ive complained to tesco customer services regarding a delivery driver who was rude to me on saturday, his van was blocking the street, i pipped and waited, he came out and shouted hang on, and went back into the house/garden 4 more minutes passed so i pipped again as i was in a hurry, he came out and shouted OK OK I AM F**KING MOVING and put his fingers up to me , as I was on my own this was very intimidating, there was no need to block the street as there was ample parking next to the house, he just chose to block the road, i took a photo of his van and reg plate etc, when he finally did move he drove at snails pace in the middle of the road so i couldnt pass, tesco rang me and said it he will be dealt with and because its a disaplinary measure i wont be informed any further, not that i want a delivery with tesco, i wasnt even offered a free delivery voucher as a good will gesture, rant over LOL

Id leave it there, you informed the employer of the actions of 1 of its drivers. This happened to you and you want to give them your cash, id use a competitior if it was me.0

I see similar to this all the time and it is annoying.
Delivery drivers believe they are the only people in the world who work and can use the road as they want, hampering us others who are also working.
A UPS van blocked up a very busy high street near me the other day, he double parked right outside where he was delivering, ignoring a loading bay that was free just a car's length away!
Simply meant for him an extra few paces to walk.
Blocked the street for no reason whatsoever. Idiot.0 -

You pipped, you pipped again later and you took a photo of the van - hardly the actions of a lone person feeling 'intimidated'.
I'm not condoning the actions of the driver, but if you poke a snake with a stick, you should not be surprised by its response.0 -
Good for you for reporting him.
If a fire engine or ambulance needed to get through it would be scuppered, it could even be a life lost. He needs a good telling off and I hope he gets one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
