I have tried this umpteen ways to get it to £1.81 and cant do it. Would anyone else who has Vanquis and gets a paper statement put up some of their info so we can see if it ever works out, to what they say it's going to be?

I am really interested now as to how they work these things out, sad I know but it's bugging me now;)

Because it says Estimated interest.. So depending on How much you may and when you pay. It is probably intended as a guide.

With bank base rate at 0.5% how do credit cards justify 25%+? I agreed to my charges when bank base rate was much higher, so why not a reduction when base rate is lower? They soon wack it on when rates go up!!!!! Thank god I'am able to pay off the balance most months.

Perhaps you could see if the bank of england will lend you money direct from themselves at 0.5% APR, allow you 56days interest free credit, provide the added purchase protection cover, administer your account, provide you with monthly statements......

Or you could always try applying for a card with a cheaper purchase APR. ;)
