Can I pay off 1 card with another for nectar points?

If I make a payment with my tesco credit card, could I then pay it off with my nectar credit card and still get the nectar points, and then pay off the nectar card in full?

Only if you're willing to pay all the BT fees, which I would imagine would defeat the purpose. And the BT almost certainly wouldn't earn you the Nectar points.

    So, actually, no.

You cannot pay one card with another - the only way to do this would be via a balance transfer, which would incur a balance transfer fee that would probrably cost more than the points are worth (thats if you earn nectar points on balance transfers).

Apart from if it's a Creation credit card you can clear the balance with another credit card, it doesn't count as a cash advance.
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

Thanks for that - I paid off a small balance via Credit Card but never got round to checking how it was treated. So it definitely counts as a purchase? Seems like a handy way of getting double reward points!

No - it almost certainly will be classed as a balance transfer with fees to match (unless it is one of the few cards which offer BTs for no fee).

Not on the Creation cards I do it every month, it even clearly states in the FAQ credit card payment is acceptable. It does not count as a BT nor a cash advance.
