Looking for a bargain during school hols

We all like a bargain and with the purse strings getting ever tighter we are looking to save as much as we can this summer but we do need some sun and possibly some sand.
We are lookin for a week away anytime between July 20 and sunday the 5th of August. it must be warmer than the UK has been for the last few months (not hard lol) and accomadate a family of 6 kids are 4 6 8 and 13.
Our budget for accomadation is 100 pound a day max and we are looking to drive our way to the destination, we are veterans at driving Europe and are prepared to drive as far as northern Italy if the right holiday awaits......
Any ideas where we can start lookin, websites etc, newspapers?

£700 for a week away for six of you? Good luck with that!
Would driving as far as possible really be cost effective? Think of your fuel costs for a start!0 -

Should be able to get a mobile home through Eurocamp and the like for that budget
Dordogne maybe?0
