Fill with hot water and pop a steredant tablet in it - leave for an hour or two or overnight - scour pan with non abrasive scourer - empty and rinse out

You can buy descalers for kettles and pans etc from Robert Dyas and many other shops.
Kilrock is one brand I know of.
Maybe steredent is cheaper and as effective. I've never tried it. I still have all my teeth.

Or mix a solution of vinager and water in the saucepan and boil it. That trick gets my kettle clean.
Remember to put a lid on saucepan to keep the vinager smell contained. After boiling for 5 mins take it off heat and let it sit there until it cools down. If not all the limescale has been removed just repeat until gone."I think I spent 72.75% of my life last year in the office. I need a new job!!"0 -
