Help with ppi offer from Santander

I recently contacted my mortgage lender Santander enquiring if I had PPI on my mortgage which I took out approx 10 years ago. After a length conversation they sheepishly told me I had PPI on my mortgage and if I wanted to make a claim had to contact there claims depart which I did. The claims depart orginally said they could not find a record of me having PPi but I was given a policy number from the original call to Santander. Eventually the claims department found the policy number and said that when I first took out the mortgage I had PPI for approx 6 months which I knew nothing about and I dont remember cancelling it. Santander came back to me with an offer of £211.22p breakdown of which is £121.68 premiums paid and £89.54 interest. Santander said if I was not happy with the offer then contact the omsbudsman, does it sound like a fair offer or sound I take it further, any help would be much appreciated.

hi,
unless you have any paperwork to say otherwise i think this could sound about right for 6 month worth of PPI. as you can't provide any statements or such to prove otherwise i would take the offer tbh0
