New Tax Claim after 10 years?

Hi,
This might sound like a silly Q, but I'm about to become a single parent, and I work term time only. I have been on the benefits checker site, and am sure I'll get topped up with WTC and maybe some housing benefit, but my question is that many years ago ( about 10) I was on WTC and due to overpayments while I was on maternity leave they overpaid me, and it was all sorted and paid back.
Would this affect a new claim ten years on or am I worrying for nothing?!
