Income Protection

I am not sure if this is the correct place to put this but am wondering if anyone has Income Protection Insurance and is it worthwhile. Also would be keen to hear which providers are best and offer hassle free claims if the needs arose. I am not in a position to need it but would like to be prepared should anything happen in the future due to businesses closing all the time

I have it, I use barclays it cost me £31 amonth for unemplyment protrection I also have one for off work due to illness which cost £20 a month.
Many years ago I was made redundant and use the plan and they paid me £800 a month and I was also able to claim JSA so I know they do actually pay out
Hope this helps you0 -
Yes it is worth it, but a claim won't be straighforward. Play everything straight and you'll be fine0
