in Phones & TV
Hi,
I Currently split up with my partner who is now still living in the house we were renting. I am paying for the Sky package, TV/Broadband/Phone.
I do understand that you can't just cancel this as its a 12 month contract and i have over 6 months left still.
Is there anyway i can put on hold? or even move sky but not the phone? Or cancel phone now.
Im really confused but need cancel as I'm paying for it and she's using it however she won't take it on in her name.
Thanks

Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.

If its in your name and you are at a new address you can move the complete package, phone, broadband and TV to your new address.
As its in your name you don't even have to tell your ex. Just one day everything will go off in the house. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I am back in with the parents at the minute until i get a new place. Which won't be for a month or so.
Is there a way to stop at least the phone?Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0 -
You can 'stop' any service you want. But if you do, you'll be liable for any ETC owing under the original contract. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
