Are you sure? This http://www.nationwide.co.uk/creditcard/select-credit-card/offer-deals.htm would suggest that the cash rate is 27.9% and you'll also have to pay a fee - are you not thinking of the Halifax Clarity card? Their representative APR is 12.9% for purchases and cash (with no fee) - this is the one I took out and recommend for overseas travel.
Though for purchases alone, the Select is a brilliant overseas card.0 -
