Just thought I would share my most recent FB
I sold a 'miniature' antique gold seal fob to a lady in America. In my listing I had weighed and measured it as I do with all my items. She paid 3 days after the auction had finished and I posted the next day. 3 weeks later she sent me a email tellin me she had not got it, no hello, no thank you just she had not got it. I tracked it and an attempted delivery had been made and it had sat for 9 days in the sorting office waiting to be picked up. I informed her this and she said she had been but there was nothing there so I asked for the local postal service. Suddenly it turned up!!
Anyway feedback...Neutral..very small
She marked my DSR down on time, communication and item as described. Makes you wonder about people and why they all seem to be on ebay

At the risk of upsetting any Americans reading this forum, I would say that, despite being one of the most powerful nations on earth, my experience of the 'average' American, is that they are not the brightest of people!
Not related to Ebay, but one of my favourite stories was a time when I went to Disneyland Florida. I'd been standing in the queue for the Big Thunder Mountain ride (a fast, runaway train, roller coaster, for those of you who do not know it) for nearly an hour, and there were 4 Americans in front of me (probably in their 50's or 60's). Bearing in mind we'd been actually standing alongside the ride, one of them turned to me and asked what the queue was for. When I explained and pointed it out to them, the reply was "Oh, we don't want to go on a ride like that!". I then asked why they'd been queuing for nearly an hour and they just said "We saw a queue so thought we'd join it".0 -

In the USSR that was essentially what you did - if people were queueing, it was something worth queueing for!"Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I'm sure there are plenty of Brits who could be just as stupid. You can see a few of them on ITV every weekday morning between 9:25 and 10:30ammelliott1963 wrote: »At the risk of upsetting any Americans reading this forum, I would say that, despite being one of the most powerful nations on earth, my experience of the 'average' American, is that they are not the brightest of people!
