ok thats fine but do u have any other thoughts of what else would go together with massage and beauty.0

The obvious one is manicures and basic pedicures (although you need to know what you're doing if your doing anything more than painting toenails!)
Although having said that, I hate the smell of nail varnish, I changed hairdressers because she started a nail bar in the salon and the smell made me feel ill ...
Foot massage is nice too: I sometimes have one of them and I could just fall asleep afterwards!
A colleague is offering 'mindfulness' sessions. Haven't been yet, but that could be worth looking at.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
charityworker you have hit the nail on the head. The main reason i want a medium is to sell the tickets as just massage/beauty wont do it. I do more Reiki treatments than anything else.
Really interested in what you sell on your stalls if you attend mind body & spirit events. Am i allowed to ask that on a forum.
And antrobus I am weird always have been
I do hand massage, manicures, nail art, make overs, glitter tattoos and decorate existing tattoos for £3 each. If you keep the price low you get more customers. I have business cards on the table and a digital photo frame with pictures of my other work going on it. Its a very good way of advertising what you do.0 -
I am a fully qualified holistic therapist level three also a reiki master advanced. I have a list of level three beauty therapists who work for me as and when i need them. But never once have i thought of nail art or glitter tattoos Nor have i thought of the idea of have a digital photo frame going. You have a very clever mind. Thanks for that in put. You sound like you have mass of experiance0

And I think it's an excellent idea to have people whose work you can vouch for, IYSWIM. Which is much easier to do when it's something you can get a qualification or formal training for.I have a list of level three beauty therapists who work for me as and when i need them.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Hi How about aromatherapy, reflexology, and IHM

I would say you are a reiki specialist, your reiki is popular so why not focus on that and becoming known as the top reiki practitioner in your area. Combine it with an organic beauty range such as Neals Yard and sell some retail alongside the massages. You could also team up with a nutritionist who could talk to the group whilst you are performing reiki.0

Specialise in the reiki and build that business. Pamper evenings great - do massage, hair, makeup, nails as those things hang together well. Don't offer tarot or a medium - keep these separate and have an evening of tarot card readings and an evening with a medium.
Certainly don't mix the tarot and the mediums with the pamper evenings because that is an entirely different market and you could end up alienating people.
If I wanted my tarot cards read then I would go to a tarot evening likewise if I want to speak to my dead relatives then I would go and see a medium, it sure would put me off if these were offered as part of a pamper package because I would be there to be pampered and not commune with the dead or have my fortune told.
I am a fairly open minded person and once went for a hopi ear candle treatment - the practitioner then started saying that she could see native american indians around me, although I have an interest native american indians - I don't particularly want to hear that they are standing around me when I am having a treatment, needless to say I never went to that practitioner again as she was just too wierd.0 -
Do one pamper evening with just make up, hair etc then do one which includes a tarot reading and see which one is more popular. I'm betting it will be the latter and no one at all will turn up to the evening without the tarot.0

Pretty sure there are a lot of beauty therapists and party consultants who's businesses are thriving without the use of magic.0
