Outgoing Server Settings - Phone

What are the correct settings for the outgoing server on my Samsung Note phone ?
I am with Talk Talk - GOTADSL servers
the incoming works fine (pop3.gotadsl.co.uk)
but outgoing - smtp-auth.gotadsl.co.uk
I have tried port 587 with no security - but no connection
This worked (stilll does) - on my old Nokia
Could this be related to Google on the phone ?
