Can't set up recipient (Halifax)

Hello all.
I have a H.Samuel card and pay monthly by BACS to pay off the card. Santander took over the payments about a year or so ago.
I received a letter to say that their bank details have changed. However when I went to set up a new recipient with them online, Halifax said that the sort code was for a company and directed me to the company page. However none of the companies that come up are Santander but have the same bank account details as those that I have been given.
However when I search for Santander, the two middle numbers of the sort code are one number out (so one of the numbers is a 0 instead of a 9, for instance).
I've checked on the letter I received about the change in bank details to make sure I got them right, and I've checked my latest H.Samuel statement and the bank details are the same on the back as the new ones I've been given.
However, because Halifax have recognised that the sort code and or/account number are for a company, they just redirect me to the company page and won't let me enter the details manually.
If I were to set up the BACS so it went to one of the other named companies that have the same bank details as the new Santander ones and included my reference (as I always do) would they still receive it and it be credited to me account? As I said, companies do come up with the same sort code and account number as the new Santander one (e.g. Burton Group, ASDA etc).
I've even tried searching for H.Samuel and Signet but nothing comes up.
Sorry for the long post.:o

Yes, that'll be fine.
It is just the sort code, account number and reference that direct the payment to its destination.0 -

Thank you.
I thought so but just wanted to check. I wonder if it's a problem with Halifax not updating their system to include Santander's new details yet. :think:2019 Wins
