My 'buy it now' price has gone?

Hi guys just a quickie I hope. I put an item on eBay at £60 starting bid with £100 bin price. I've just had a look after seeing one bid on there and the bin price is no longer on there? I don't know why, is it something silly that I should know? Have eBay removed it?

Any help please guys, Paul.

Buy it now option automatically disappears once you have had a bid on it.

Does that happen all the time?

Some auctions still run with it on.

The BIN will only stay if you have a reserve price that has not been met I.e. Auction start price £60, reserve £100, BIN £100.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I dont see why eBay can't leave the Buy it Now price until the current bid equals the Buy It Now price. I.e. item is set at a Buy It Now for £100, surely the Buy It Now should stay until the bid reaches £100?

Then there would be no point at all in having a lower start price, might as well just have the BIN at £100.

Some people use BIN on an auction to encourage people to bid early on in the auction to encourage a bidding war- it would be pointless if people didn't actually think they might just win it at a knock down price.
