Hi all

Just hoping someone may be able to help, I know it sounds obvious, but does anyone know what the following message means, i.e have I been accepted?

Confirmation Thank you for your application for an account with HSBC Bank. Your application has been received successfully.What happens next:We just need to complete the processing of your application and will then write to you within the next couple of days. Thank you again for choosing HSBC.

They have received your application.

They will then process this application and inform you if you have been an acceptance for the bank account.

I had exactly the same message when I opened an account at HSBC 2 weeks ago. I got a phone call the next day and was instructed to go into branch to complete application, no problems at all.

seem my application wasnt referred, was an outright decline - oh well
