Hi All,
Does anyone know of a free, trustworthy, broadband monitor software for Windows 7? I would like to monitor my broadband usage.
Also, I would like to ban certain types of website from being viewed on a shared household computer. I have used Norton ConnectSafe to block malware and !!!!!! websites but now need something that will block downloading of youtube videos for example.
Any help appreciated.

I have recently installed Networx on my Windows 7 laptop
No problems to date and the little graph in the taskbar works just fine.
I use Adblock plus on Firefox (or Chrome) to block ads, but this can also be used to block entire web sites. Instructions here.
Parental controls are built into Windows 7, but I don't use them so cannot advise. Perhaps others can help.

Another vote for Networx. Have used it now for a couple of years on my desktop PC (Windows 7). I have found it to be fairly accurate as the usage figures recorded are in line with those that are documented in my usage stats recorded by my ISP.
As I am the only user of my PC, I don't monitor/ block access to certain sites etc so am unable to advise.

Thanks Dave_C for the Networx link (and maggiej for the vote of confidence in Networx) - Just what I was looking for.
Incidently I am now using OpenDNS to block websites via my router - I found it better than Norton ConnectSafe because of the way it allows you to filter general website genres/types and gives you the ability to allow and block certain websites.
