CPS Barnstaple

Yesterday, after a hard day at work, I returned to my car, parked in a private car park in Barnstaple, to find a PCN on the windscreen. The company is called Creative Parking Solutions (anyone have any experience of them?)
The thing is, I bought a ticket that morning and it had blown off the inside of my windscreen. I have the flaming ticket here in front of me and even had a witness to me buying the ticket as I had taken a colleague to work that morning!
Question is....do I now just ignore? Or do I write to them sending a photocopy of the ticket, or will they just say I am still liable cos they couldn't see the ticket.
It kind of goes against the grain to ignore it and I want to shove my ticket, along with their ticket where the sun don't shine!
Binks.

This barrister: http://timkevan.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/challenge-to-private-parking-charge.html did a good job of telling them where to shove it!... The company is called Creative Parking Solutions (anyone have any experience of them?) ...
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -

I have seen Tim's post.
I just don't know whether to reply or not. The ticket had blown onto the centre console of my car, but obviously was not glaringly obvious enough to them!0 -

Nope. You are not liable to pay and you must not 'appeal' either (as if!!). This is a private company with an unsolicited invoice, dressed up to impersonate a parking ticket.
Replying is not appealing, it's falling into their trap and giving them information about who was driving and that you actually seem to think it's a real parking ticket. They will think 'oh good here's a real person who might just pay if we send some official-looking letters'.
It's just a scam, ignore it as long as it's not a company, hire or leased car. The registered keeper will get some letters anyway so no point giving them info.

HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
