AVAST / Outlook problem

Hi

Avast has updated itself in the last couple of days (to 7.0.1456).
I'm now getting problem messages when Outlook (2007 SP3) starts saying there is a problem with the Avast Plug-in.
Has anyone else come across this? Is there a solution out there?

Try disabling email scanning in Avast to see if that resolves the problem.

Just tried disabling email scan via Avast, no improvement.
I could disable the Avast Outlook add-in but I might just give it a week and see if Avast put out another update (assuming other people get the same problem of course).

Avast's last update has mass problems, mainly for XP users- caused my netbook to leak memory, which righted itself with the new update, and a Windows boot failure on PC, had to go in safe mode, remove Avast and then re-install. However the update you were given was supposed to fix the issues.

I'd try re-installing Avast and having a look on their fourms to see if other users are having the same problem.
