Paddy Power I'm still waiting for my claim to be looked at. I made the transaction 3 months ago, when I had a bet on the grand national.

Also Ladbrokes took over 2 years to pay £50 to my brother. Luckily my brother won hundreds on a single play on an online slot machine, otherwise he would have been seriously annoyed!

Can I add Tesco to the name-and-shame list - I purchased 2 items from Tesco Direct on the same day in Dec 2011, approx 20 minutes apart. They failed to track so I submitted Quidco claims.
After 7 months they rejected the first claim (due a rebate of £24) saying that they had paid it to another referrer (dont know who, as I've only ever used Quidco).
Then a week later they confirmed the second item (purchased only 20 minutes later, and due only £0.45 rebate).

How can 2 purchases only 20 mins apart be treated differently - if they claim there were cookies in place that sent the first payment to the wrong referral site, then why didn't that also affect the second purchase.

Seems to me that Tesco are finding excuses not to pay larger claims.

I booked 8 rooms at Heathrow Thistle in July 2010. I am due a payment of £30, which has yet to materialise. I raised a cliam within the timeframe, and it still shows on tha Activity page as 'claim raised'.

This must be a record. Has anyone ever waited that long for a claim to be either met or declined??

It makes you wonder if it is worth using cashback sites. It's ok if you would have bought the item anyway at full price. But many people impulse buy when they see what looks like a good deal. But if you buy from a particular company because of the CB that you expected, then they have sold you something under false pretences.

Well, well, well. Two and a half years later and Thistle Hotels have paid me my cash back. To be fair to Quidco, they pursued the claim and kept me updated during the long wait, and my patience has paid off.
