what are these?
We moved recently and over the last few weeks in the front garden a bed of mixed colour plants have bloomed we like them and wanted to know what they are so that we can plant more of them.
They close up at night and on cloudy days and open fully in the sun.
Any help much appreciated.

I have them, they grew as easily as weeds. But look great/Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Thanks guys , that explains a lot.A couple of years ago I received some seeds from a friend in the states.
Most got planted at the time but some were put away and forgotten about, we found them shortly after we moved in unlabelled, and scattered them in the front garden just in case they were still viable and we might get a nice surprise.
Forgot about them and assumed they were plants previously there.
Thanks once again for your help much appreciated.
