Flylady too much! She was always a bit splap-dash/happy-go-lucky for my taste.
But then I do run milk bottles though the dishwasher before I give them back to milko:D Love the organised home site.

Reckon I qualify for those badges
My living room was all sorted and clean one day last week, until I decided to clear out my son's room, and now I've got boxes of stuff back in the living room cluttering it up
And don't even ask about MY room
Think there's around a square foot of clear floor at the door entrance to squeeze in, and you can't see my bed for piles of clothes"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

will come back to you three times as strong!

I seem to spend most of my time organizing, tidying & de-cluttering, ti's in my nature. Trouble is Hubby is completely the opposite so it's a bit of a thankless task in my case!Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -
hello again everyone!
sorry i haven't been on for a bit, i've been really busy and a bit depressed, inland revenue have screwed up and not paid us our wtc and ctc for 4 weeks due to their own mistake   i've not really been in a mood to talk as you can imagine!
things have settled down now and appear to be on the mend so i thought i'd see how everyone is doing with this challenge?
i've totally cleared out every cupboard, drawer, underbed storage box etc. i've reorganised the whole house and now have half a small room full of stuff to sell or give away
part of what spurred me on was to find the iron i bought awhile back. i've been given a sewing machine and i'm making patchwork quilts but i really need to press the seams now before i can continue. did i find that iron during my massive cleanout? NO! :mad:oh well, dh bought one tonight from asda for only £4.94 and it's a steam iron. if i find the other one i'll send it to my sil as a housewarming present :rotfl:
anyway, the house is looking messy because i've got stuff in various stages of readiness to be sold at a boot sale and on my new forum (see my signature). whatever i don't sell will be freecycled or given to charity. i am SO looking forward to having this stuff gone!
hope everyone else is doing a great job! :Tfounder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -

Unfortunately the mood to go on a blitz is not something I can muster up with any frequency, and half hearted attempts just get abandoned. Oh big sigh! I don't want to end up being on Kim and Aggie's hit list...
i know what that's like! now if i could only catch up with all the other stuff that needs doing (i think i used deep cleaning the cupboards as an excuse to avoid tedious tasks like cleaning the toilet etc)founder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -

There are currently 37276 registered members who are just as friendly and supportive as here so if you get a bit lazy there is always someone about to give you a kick up the bottom if you need it LOL
i didn't know you had a forum! i quoted the link for the site at the beginning of this thread, the forms are brilliant :Tfounder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -
I had to give up when ds got excluded from school as his punishment was to take over the housework for the week. Every task was incomplete and the place looks worse than it did before.
I can't wait for tomorrow when he's back at school, I have so much cleaning and clearing to do that I probably won't be around for a few days.
Holsale, I hope IR have sorted you out now?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I think it was Quentin Crisp who said once that 'the dust doesn't get any worse after two years'.
I'm testing it out - okay! :rolleyes:0
