Best Visa for Travel Rewards

Hi All,

I was in Denmark a few weeks back and discovered that many vendors only accepted Visa.

I only have AMEX and Mastercard, although was able to get by by using my Visa debit card.

I love collecting travel points so currently have the British Airways AMEX and the Marriott Rewards Mastercard, and I'm looking for a Visa to complement them.

I don't want a cashback card - any ideas? As an alternative to travel I'd be willing to take a Visa that gives reward points for things like Amazon or John Lewis, but most of those seem to be Mastercard.

The BMI Amex/Visa duo card will give you BMI points which you can convert to BA miles. I'm not too sure it'll be a great rate, plus you'll probably pay foreign loading fees too.

Yes, good idea to apply for the BMI cards. I recently received my cards. Current deal is if you spend £250 in 3 months you get 20,000 desination miles bonus (20,000 avios equivalent). The advantage with the BMI card over the BA card is that you get more miles per transaction (1.5 miles per £1) also the visa card will get you (0.75 miles per £1).
Transferring BMI destination miles to BA avios was straight forward, I tried it on some old balances I had in my BMI accounts.
Other potential card option could be Hilton Visa if you stay in those hotels.
