where does everyone get their condensed milk these days without having to take out a loan to buy it??

    Places like home bargains and quality save sell it for about 69p a can as opposed to £1 in the supermarkets

    Its really easy to make as well, there are videos on youtube and I have a recipe in one of my books somewhere-literally will cost you pence xx

    £1 in which supermarkets? cheapest i can find it today is about £1.89 a tin!

    thanks, will have a look next time i'm in - dont have an asda too local to me. wasnt sure what home bargains was so went to search for my closest one, seems were getting a store fairly close in Aug 2012 so will have to have a peek" x

    I just looked to see where my nearest Home Bargains is - it's 42 miles away from me! Maybe they'll open some closer to me one day!

    It might be a mis-price but Tesco have Carnation Sweetened Condensed Milk 397G tins for 50p on their website. I have ordered some for delivery on Wednesday so I'll find out then.
    Their Farmlea brand tins are 99p.
