Wednesday 4th July - A reasonably small job made to look difficult by a bunch of inexperienced Newcastle jordies.
These guys ripped up all the weeds from all the beds, they didn't bother poisoning the beds a few days before. They just ripped out a ton of weeds, rotavated terribly (as you can see what the video is mostly showing), added a few barrow fulls of top soil, raked it flat and finally laid the turf extremely badly. The turf is not level with the ground, they have simply just added the turf and trod on it once or twice and then claim "job done". PMSL!!! .... The team leaders at the end of the video weren't impressed and when main inspectors came to view, oh they aren't amused. Couple of pictures at the end of the video of the cowboys bodge job. LMAO!

If you don't find anything in this video amusing, then their is something wrong with you, you have zero sense of humor and must have such a boring life.

Pretty much how every housing developer does it as well. Want a decent job doing, do it yourself!

It was funny as hell watching them though, we were in stitches xD
  • Rotavators are easy to use, you have to pull back hard on it to stop it running forward (as per the video), and it digs itself down and in. Once its in, you ease off and let it crawl forward, and it digs a furrow. The weight of the machine stops it lifting itself out the furrow. The hardest bit is starting the furrow, and turning, because you have to basically pull hard again and rotavate on the spot whilst swinging the machine round., Rotavators dont make the job any easier, you just get far more done for the same amount of completely knackering effort.
