I purchased a Dell PC some time ago which came with McAFee security free for 15 months.
I renewed this security after the free period for another year.
A year later and my bank account has been debited for £39.99 by McAfee without my permission.
I have sent several E-mails requesting a refund, as I did not want to pay a further subscription, which seem to be ignored.
Anyone had similar experiences with McAfee?

Dont use it myself, but there will probably be a term somewhere that states they will continue subscription unless you advise otherwise. Very similar to the way insurance companies take payments.
During the term that you account was debited, did you use Mcafee?Don't bother trying to sue me - I've got no money!0

Have you tried contacting your bank and explaining the situation and see if there is anything they can do?
I suspect though as gyzmo says there will probably be something in the terms and conditions saying that unless you cancel they will take it out annually
Have you spoken to anyone or is it just email contact?Weight Loss - 102lb0

Recently renewed my Norton and as I recall part way through the process there was an opt out of automatic renewal. Very difficult to spot, possibly purposely? maybe McAfee have similar and you didn't spot it, I know with the Norton it was easy to miss.0
