The Civil Procedure Rules contain a Part which relates to service, and deems service 2 working days later if served by 1st class post.0

hubby and I sent a notice letter for the 29th june (posted in good time, and recorded delivery of course)girlwithnoname yes we did pay, we paid for recorded WITH gurarnteed next day. £5.60.
One of these is recorded signed for, the other is special delivery... one aims for next day and the other guarantees next day. My original statement of not having paid for next day delivery was based on your original statement of having paid for recorded delivery.You were only killing time and it'll kill you right back0 -
You will have to see what the LA/LL does. I would dispute it if they try to charge you an extra month, after all he postal address is a PO Box, he could take a month to pick letters up that wouldn't be your problem.0
