Can you retract a "Best Offer"

I am watching concert tickets which are on as a buy it now or best offer. Thing is the concert is tomorrow night and the person is willing to meet at the venue to hand over the tickets.

I just wondered what would happen say if I submitted a best offer and the person didn't look at their ebay listings till Thursday (i.e. after the concert takes place). They could then accept my best offer but I would have missed the concert.

Is there a way if this scenario happened that I could retract my best offer before the end of the listing?

Why bother you won't be paying for them if he doesn't accept in good time. He will also be waiting until the last moment to see if a better offer comes in ...as we all would. Just send an email detailing your concerns and ask that he accepts in a timely fashion.
