upvc exterior door problem

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my exterior door. Basically the inside of one of handles has worn and the handle is just loose from the spindle. Lucky it's the inside handle and not the outside. I've tried Wickies and Homebase and b & q, but I can't get a handle to fit, because it's a old upvc handle. At the moment I've took the handle of and just using a adjustable spanner for a handle. Someone told me to buy jb weld to secure the handle is this any good?
Some help on this matter would be very grateful.
Regards
