I have heard these can be conducted over the phone is this true? if so what are my rights in regards to doing them over the phone rarther than having to travel?

It's down to the advisor realy, I've had a couple done over the phone, i told them I wasn't fit and that was accepted..

TBH i believe i should be in the support group but after waiting nearly 2 years just to appeal and get in the work related group i couldn't face all the stress again of appealing to get in the support group, im in constant pain and travailing anywhere is always a causes me great difficulty and pain and ends up been a lot of hassle.

It really makes me angry that im not in the support group and makes me even more angry that the decision making process has failed me numourstimes, already had 2 appeal's that took nearly 2 years each the amount of worry and stress means people are accepting lower awards than they should really be getting because they can't face another 2 years off stress and worry.:o

Yes, it is possible to have the WFI carried out over the phone. However, this is entirely at the discretion of the adviser, you do not have any 'rights' in the matter.
