I've just started selling on ebay. Within few weeks.
Mostly prize wins. I won some dvds and tshirts and I put them on ebay about a week or so ago. Ebay said it wouldn't let me charge more than about £2 but as it was 6 dvds and 3 t-shirts i said courier and it would be £6

What are vyou trying to ask?
The DVD catorgery has a postage cap of £2 to stop people charging more for postage so normally the only way to list is to put the extra postage costs in your start price.0 -
Are you talking fees, or postage?!
I can't see what you're trying to ask either.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Are you saying you want to charge £6 postage for a single consignment of 6 DVD's and some T-shirts, or are you saying that you want to charge £6 postage for each item?
TBH, who is going to pay £6 postage for a DVD?0 -

You're listing in the wrong category. If you are listing in the DVD category, there is a postage cap and you need to stick to that.
To be honest, no-one is going to buy a job lot like that. The chances of people wanting one of the t-shirts, one of the DVDs, etc. is greater than someone wanting the exact items you have listed for sale, and being willing to pay that amount of postage to get them. I would sell the items individually, in the right categories, so people can pick and choose the items they want, and you will find it doesn't cost £6 to send any of those items individually, or require a courier.
Doing it this way is a bit foolish, and also against the rules, since the t-shirts are obviously miscategorised as DVDs."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
