Yorks BS takes over Egg

The best part of being an Egg customer is the Account Aggregation service. On one page all your bank, savings and creditcard accounts from all banks are visible and accessible. Will Yorkshire BS carry this on I wonder? Does anyone know of another similar service I can use just in case. Thanks Egg - its been a real time saver over the years!

First direct Internet banking plus does the job too! Fortunately I already had my mortgage and bank with them!

According to the letter that arrived with me yesterday the Egg Money Manager is staying after the transfer to Yorkshire Building Society account numbers and systems in September.

I received a Secure Message from the Egg Money Manager service yesterday saying they don't know what plans Yorkshire Building Society has for the Egg Money Manager product - so it may or may not continue after the transfer.

I, too, would like to know what alternatives exist in case Egg Money Manager is withdrawn; it's been a hugely useful service. Is the Internet Banking Plus from First Direct mentioned by others here available to anyone without a First Direct current account? And, are there other services of this type that are worth considering? Many thanks!

If you really want a replacement for Egg Money (not that the formal letter suggests any need to jump) then the choice is probably to go for the ewise.com.au service as I understand it they provide the software behind the service so you'll recognise all but the front end.

I was on the Yorkshire Building Society website today looking at their Cash Transactor savings account, which is a basic bank account without a debit card and on another part of the website it mentioned the fact that they will be offering an "all accounts" viewing facility later this year - sounds good to me :)

    Ditto.

Far from scrapping it, I undersatnd that they also intend to extend the scope and functionality of Egg Money Manager further within the existing YBS systems and accounts.
