    Evening All!

Many happy returns Fuddle, hope you have had a lovely day!

GQ - do you have i-player on your PC? You can watch once the prog has aired, no licence required. I know your PC is a bit steam-driven, so not sure if you can run it, but worth a try!

We had a good day out, lovely weather, Tenby (well bits of it) is very pretty. Had a nice lunch (not fish & chips) and picked up some good bread and cockles on the way home which we have just had for tea. Also bought four huge fresh cream eclairs (two for the OGs) which will be pud...

Also got half price 4ltrs semi-skimmed, 4ltrs whipping cream and a litre of single from the wholesalers, going to try cheese making tomorrow!

    Or you'll have a running commentary ;)

It really would be fantastic if there were pots of money available. Strict pots that genuine people in real need could access. Not an overall rule or criteria that people have to fit in but a common sense approach based solely on an individuals circumstances. Wouldn't that be just great?

I'm really wanting to focus on getting plant pots/buckets/bags filled with compost over the wintering months. I need to sow, sow, sow next spring.
  • GQ just google BBC iplayer and take yourself to the website and follow instructions - easy-peasy and you'll love it! ;)

Just go to the BBC web page, there is an i-player link at the top. You can watch live TV if you have a licence. If not just wait until the prog you want is uploaded. It's very straightforward!

Oooooooooohh, I've registered. It took me 4 goes to find a username that wasn't already taken, gawd I must be so unoriginal............:rotfl: Gonna have a wander around and see if this 10 y.o. PC has enough goblins inside to play moving pictures.

I think I have 1.8 goblins to the square inch in there, does that seem to be adequate ?(insert baffled frownie).

ETA I'm watching something about Egypt. Sound and moving images on this old crate...........unreal!

WAH! Spoke too soon. It's fallen over with a message I don't have enough bandwidth. I shall leave it alone for tonight and play again another time.

Fuddle, if you have a couple of spare pot's, then you can set broad bean's and early pea's in October and November that will be ready for harvesting May/June time, and don't forget you can do herb's all year round on a warm, sunny window sill.hth

I would love a 1940's head scarf. Anyone know how to tie one and what shape of material they are?
