Family are at arms length elona don't worry. I have a little lovely family of my own. Only ever asked my mam and sister one thing in my life and that was please could they be guarantor for us so we could rent a house when we lost ours. As we were bankrupt we couldn't pass the credit searches and the agents would take us without guarantor. Both of them were in the financial position to help us. Both said no. It beggars belief, hurts and makes me bitter.
I found us this house, a private rental through gumtree. For all it's negatives, it's my house, I found it by myself and pay for it with my hard working DH. Soto them :rotfl:
Sorry, showing my minxy side there

Yes, I spent almost as much on taxi's as the shopping:( I should've gone into a few shops...then again, I had to keep using taxi's between shops and you can only manage to carry so much or take it with you into another. Buses are out.
Sainsbury's seemed very poor for anyone wanting to buy items in the budget range of goods...
Did I say I bought some suet? I bought vegetable suet because I avoid beef!
It's a bit miserable here tonight...Hopefully, I'll pick up by tomorrow. I know I am struggling with my faith but if I can manage to get up in time an it's not pouring down I may go to church in the morning.
Think I may have a cup a soup soon and then have that meal within the hour. It turned very nasty outside about 8pm(Very wet and windy)so it looks like a horrible night ahead...
I keep dozing off...

I have an upset and exhausted DH today. He spent hours talking to a friend yesterday and didn't sleep last night. I posted about her DH who is 42 and has cancer a few months ago and it seems like life has been throwing everything it can at them since. The Drs have said that they can't treat his cancer and all they can do is give him as much time as possible. He is 42 for goodness sake, it's so f*cking unfair. Their 6 year old daughter is asking to go to different churches whenever anyone asks what she wants to do, so she can pray for her Daddy. It's times like this that I wish I had faith in something, but I can't fake it and pray no matter how good the
that's so sad, I really hope they can have some quality time together. Life can be so cruel. We only had a couple of weeks of knowing, which turned out to be a blessing, but quality of life was a factor. It's the stuff of nightmares, and my heart goes out to them

I think there are quite a few places that do gift vouchers- Boots, Debenhams, play.com. Amazon etc/ I am not sure how long they last but hypothetically a £100 voucher if about to expire six months later could be used for day to day stuff and then another one could be bought etc. etc."This site is addictive!"

We've been in a bit of a bubble weather wise today, no heavy rain, no wind, no thunder, bizarre as only miles away all around us it's all very dire
I had never heard of them till mentioned here... a bit embarrassing as I lived just down from Bowburn when DH and I first got together
Looking forward to getting it. Don't know what i'll do in it first though, maybe some chips
My DD has been inspired by Jess Ennis and wants to be my personal trainer. Oh heck :rotfl: She's taking me over the fields for a run tomorrow, then back for some skipping, jumping jacks and press up :eek:0 -

What a good idea and it cannot be classed as capital;) I usually leave some credit on my credit cards or did...If that isn't classed as capital I may do that again then they can be used anywhere..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Fuddle smaller portions(even spread across the day)will work and no, you don't have to give up what you enjoy unless it's on cost...and they say 20 mins of exercise is enough(a brisk walk where you are slightly out of breath)
I heard 3 times a week is enough. Some people need the companionship and drive to succeed so join a gym but it is not really needed. You can even do excercise on the spot whilst watching TV:p"A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson
