Horrible. I am baffled by the reference to the fact they were not visitors to the museum...hopefully that will become clear in time..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

When my DH was a boy pops he went to work with his uncle at the museum, on the farm part with the horses. Maybe the little one was with family members working on the farm or something. I don't know. It's hit me hard. I'm part Stanley and spent so much time up there.0

That would be a big treat for me, and if it were one of a series, you could buy the next one at 1 year, then 18 months etc. and have a lasting reminder of how well you are doing. Hope your hounds are all well and keeping you fit!!!!! Cheers Lyn and Docky x.
Womble has caused a bit of trouble this week. There is another dog who since we have had Womble has growled at him every day we bump into them on the field. They have had a couple of spats but Womble has had a bit of a poorly ear and when the dog started growling at him he went nuts, not so much of the biting but he was all over the other dog, the owner picked her dog up and womble was attached to his leg :eek:
There was no damage and I have explained that while she is chatting on the other side of the field they have had a couple of spats and that Womble has had enough of him going for him every day but this has not stopped her telling the local caretaker of the village how savage my dog is. Luckily the caretaker buys eggs off us and knows the dogs really well.
This woman is one of the make up monster brigade so news has spread over womble being aggressive
Gawd it's like being in the playground anyway I told them all it ain't the dog ya gotta worry about luv it's me mwahhhh and now they scuttle past very quickly :rotfl::rotfl:
Playground behaviour obviously brings the kid out in me
Mind you they all call us Tom and Barbara round here and we fit in sooooooooo well

Of course as you say...they could be staff which would mean that they are not visitors. It will become clear in time.:("A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Sat with my feet in a bowl of water to treat my feet and have some moisturiser someone gave me and as I can't use it on my face (sensitive soul that I am) the feet are going to get a pampering. It says extra firming do you think it will tighten my feet up
Only hope your feet don't tighten and shrink to a smaller size though! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And do enjoy the cake stand - i have ... ahem.... a few old/vintage ones and i use them all the time for fruit, serving biscuits and of course cakes - they make things taste better!0 -
This is really sad - Beamish is one of my favourite places to visit and it's awful to image how this will affect both the boy's family and those involved throughout the museum0 -
