Low Self Discharge LSD batteries such as GP RECyKO, Uniross Hibrio, Sanyo Enloop. Avilable form Amazon etc.
They hold charge over extended periods better than the very high capacity batteries. Many people recommend them both on here and other forums suggesting that 2100mah versions surpass the < 2900 versions of standard rechargeables."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Personally I prefer Energizer Lithium over rechargeables. Put two in my camera in September and still going strong.
They can be pricey so I buy on eBay, sealed/carded, at a fantastic price.0 -
Tried various makes and have found Sanyo Enloop XX give me the best performance, I use an intelligent battery charger and get 350 to 400 shots per charge in a Nikon bridge camera.
Not the cheapest but to me well worth the money.
