Well I think its poor form just to put it up. Firstly as he said he wouldn't and secondly surely he has to give notice to even enter the garden. Am I correct on this?

Anyways I have emailed him explaining I'm a bit annoyed that he didn't make us aware but I'm more than happy for it stay up. I also made him aware that we'd happily accommodate any viewings. Does this sound reasonable?

    Kind regards

I would have left it - it could be in your interests. If he sells for £160, good luck to him. If he does not sell, come the dark days of november, you could be saying 'look it is not getting any interest even with a board up.'.

Well I've already sent the email half an hour ago. :-s Why would it have been in my interests to leave it?

    Kind regards
