RBS fob off

Options
After sending a claim to RBS they replied saying I had to provide
Further information. I had already given them name address
And account number. So off to the rbs data request team went
Another letter giving same account details as on their
Letters to me. They have returned correspondence twice alleging
They have no record of any dealings with RBS. I am currently still
Paying the loan and they seem to be able to collect payments still lol.

Where do I go from here? Am considering stopping my payments
Seeing as they have no record of me and maybe even claiming past payments they have taken.
I just want to be sure of my rights before returning my response.I am sure they are just fobbing me off as I sent copies of their statements and marriage licence and drivers licence to proove ID. Can they legally deny my request forany information despite my proof they do hold information
Thanks in advance for any advice
Sam

Just makes me so angry they can manage to take my money!

Would only suggest this to see of it jogs their memory. How many timeshould I accept sending more info before I go Fsa route. Am hoping someone had experienced same stunt.

If you deliberately go into arrears and then make a complaint about PPI the Bank will be able to use any redress towards your continuing loan.
Just follow the steps below, making sure you have valid complaint reasons and are not just complaining because you have PPI.

They have eight weeks from receipt of your complaint to issue a final response to your complaint.

You know they received your complaint by the time of the first letter they sent you so if you do not hear within 8 weeks from then, you can go to FOS.

    Hi There,

I made a ppi claim with Natwest/RBS in September last year and I also received a fob off letter on 2 occasions stating they “had no knowledge of this account number”. However when I sent them screen shots of my on line bank & loan accounts, clearly showing the account numbers on the screen they then started to play ball. After that they were very courteous and efficient and I went on to make a successful claim which took 13 weeks from start to finish.
