A few days ago I installed the Nectar search toolbar. I now wish to uninstall but cannot find it on my laptop anywhere. I know I'm not that techie minded but this is ridiculous :(
On the nectar site it tells you to 'click on Nectar.com and uninstall from the options - that only took me to their homepage.
Or - click on add ons and uninstall - but it's not there!
Or - add/remove and yes you guessed, it's not there either!
At the moment Ive hidden it and put the homepage back to google under - tools- options.
I could leave it like that but I'm annoyed I cannot uninstall something I should be able to!
Help please!!

Two options to try, Ccleaner and Revo Uninstaller
    Both free and very good.

If all else fails, try using System Restore to go back to a point before you installed it

Uninstalling the Nectar Search Toolbar Using Internet Explorer
Go to the "Start" menu, select "Control Panel," go to "Add/Remove Programs" and remove the Nectar Search Toolbar that you no longer want. Once you have removed the Nectar Search Toolbar, restart your computer.
Uninstalling the Nectar Search Toolbar Using Firefox
Go to "Tools" and click on "Add-ons." Highlight "delete the [xx] Nectar Search Toolbar" and click "Uninstall".

In your Mozilla menu bar, go to the "View" menu and select "Nectar Search Toolbars." Next to the " Nectar Search Toolbar" there should be a check mark

Just a thought, have you tried starting firefox in safe mode?
There is a reset toolbar option in thereand the continue in safe mode option lets you try without committing.
