New card issued...new pin the same as old?

This is just a query, as i've had a new card issued to me in my married name, and was told that the pin would change. My old pin I changed to something I could remember easier, and my new pin came, which is the same as my "easy to remember number". Is that normal or a freaky coincidence??

It just puzzled me...and I was a bit narked as I've had my card four days and thought I couldn't use it but the pin was the same all along!!!

they must have just sent you a reminder pin instead of changing it.

They would of sent you a reminder, as all they have done is ordered you a new card with a different name on it. That's why the pin is the same.
