When will I be able to get credit again?

Hi!

I recently lived at an address for which I didn't register on the electoral register. I lived at this address for 3 months, June 2011 to September 2011. I have now lived at my current address since then (11 months) and am on the (new) electoral register.

Unfortunately, despite having a perfect credit rating, in terms of having paid every payment on all my previous credit cards over the last 12 years (I haven't ever missed a payment or gone over any limits and have no debt), I cannot apply for any new decent credit 0% cards.

Can someone tell me when I will be credit worthy again? :D

I suspect there is more to it than the 3 month electrol issue.

Who have you asked for money? What do you earn? What is your current level of debt? What do you do for a living? Your empoyment history? Your address history over the last 3+ years?

Just some of the other aspects they will be looking at

How many live credit accounts do you have
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
