    Getting the court order was the hardest bit. Did you apply to enforce the order ? (a CCJ isn't automatic).

    You could start by calling the employer he was with a year ago and asking to talk to 'joe bloggs'. The operator would either say 'I'll put you through' or 'that person does not work here'.
