Can anyone tell me how I get the rebuild cost for my property so that I can take out buildings insurance. Many thanks

Many insurance company websites will estimate it for you. It's less than what you paid for the house, as you don't need to re-buy the land for a rebuild.
That said, I like AA Home insurance becuase it does not have a rebuild limit, they just pay what it takes to rebuild (check the details in the T&C's). I'm sure others do it too.
don't forget cashback via quidco etc for buying insurance.0 -
