When you say just edit, do you actually have to change something in the listing eg some of the wording, or is simply changing it to list immediately sufficient to avoid the fees?

I can't see EBay allowing this loophole to go on forever, so best make the most of it while we can I guess. Anyway I'll give it a try.

No, simply edit the scheduled date to 'start listing immediately' and you're off!

To close it they would have to start charging for scheduled upfront. I guess they could if they wanted to, but all the other restrictions in place have narrowed the potential for abuse. Never say never, obv, but I don't think it would be a popular move.

Not this thread - the one linked to in Techspec's post.

On Friday I tried to schedule a listing to start on Sunday as I am so slow at listing & I thought it would save some time.
It wanted to charge me 6p to schedule it.
So I cancelled & saved everything typed up as a word document.
Then on Sunday I used the info from my saved word document.

As per the rest of the thread, if you edit the saved listing to 'list immediately' the 6p is not charged.
