I'm flying luftansia from heathrow to montorray in mexico on 18th.I've been check the TSA fluid allowance for carry on lugguage can anyone tell me if I can carry on makeup and suncream and toothpaste which are less 100ml?_ I'm worried about lost lugguage something which often happens to me.
do I go by 100ml or 3oz if so which one?
What is a quart bag is it the same as a litre?
what is the total amount of fluid allowed to be taken on I'm not talking about how much per container?

Are you flying via the US? The TSA are a US govt dept. You would be better to look up the information for UK departures:

For reference, you are flying with Lufthansa, and you are going to Monterrey.0 -
If youre going via the US then all liquids in your carry on need to be 100ml or less. And in the same size resealable bag as in the UK. You can only take as many bottles that will fit in the bag.
Or just put it in your suitcase, you wont be able to decant enough suncream into 100ml bottles for a whole holiday plus make up! If your suitcase went missing just buy it again at your destination, its unlikely to happen anyway.
I normally put make up that I dont want to loose in hand luggage and stuff thats easily replaceable like suncream in the suitcase.0 -
Officially you should go by 3 fluid ounces as that is less than 100ml, but I've never heard of anyone been pulled up on it - which given the Thousands Standing Around reputation for being jobsworths is surprising0

You've lost your luggage on 57 of your last 60 flights?
If so that's an extraordinary run of bad luck.0 -
Who have you been flying with to loose your luggage that often? Are you sure you have gone to the right baggage carousel lol!0

In 2007 BA and TAP pretty much tied for delayed luggage rates: 27 cases in 1000 were delayed. By calculation 973 out of every 1000 cases arrived as normal.
Are you really suggesting that for each of 57 of 60 flights your case was one of the 27/1000?0
