Parking Ticket received by post
Hi all,
I just received a parking fine "PCN". The crime was that I stopped for about 5 minutes (I was in my car all the time) on a single yellow line during peak hours. The council says that they saw me through the cctv and have sent me a PCN about a month after I had done that (I had been in the area about a month back and I received the PCN today).
Is this fair?

I always thought that if they PCN isn't issued within 14 days, it can't be enforced.
Have a look on http://www.pepipoo.com/ too!!If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
Thanks for the reply.
Are you sure? I can't find anyplace where it states that?
Could you please guide me to some place where it states that.
Cheers,

Does the single yellow in question allow disabled (blue badge) parking? If so did you have a disabled person in the car but due to some reason or another they decided not to get out?0

I think the 14 days you are talking about relates to speeding tickets rather than parking offences?Weight Loss - 102lb0

Hi,
No I didn't have any disabled person in my car but i am not sure if the place allowed disabled to park.
I must say though the excuse is amazing. I would certainly consider this in future.
Cheers,
