Noticeable difference between lining paper?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell whether there is any noticeable difference between Erfurt Mav Professional and Red Label lining paper? I notice a couple of online traders are saying Red Label is an inferior product. Is this really the case? I am looking at Grade 1400 and above.

Cheers

I lookes at the erfut 1400 but in the end I opted for Wall Doctor, paste the wall, paper.

It was more expensive but I only needed 3 rolls. Easy to put up and handle, limited chance of tears.

We brought it from B&Q, but they are not showing it now.

Fibreliner was recommended by a professional decorator for heavy blemishes but it is more expensive still.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at that but my estimations we are looking at 620m (full house). Thats over 60 standard rolls so I am trying to keep costs down where I can!

I couldn't tell you what the quality of Erfurt Mav Professional is but I've been decorating recently with Red Label and found it to be fine, I haven't had any problems with tearing and its still up! Its made a vast improvement to appearance of my walls, covering all the bumps with no problems and painting over its been fine. I used 1400 stuff too.

    HTH's.
