Might I humbly suggest the Microlab FC360?0 -

Very good but sadly lacking in space for them. Willing to go up to £50-60 didn't make that very clear either. Been a very stressful day!-TangleFoot- wrote: »Might I humbly suggest the Microlab FC360?0 -

You are not limited to 'computer' speakers - I bought a set of these http://www.maplin.co.uk/active-speakers-27962 and have never regretted it - loud, clear, crisp, well-balanced sound, respectable bass response, they work well for video editing, really nice speakers for the price. And being a woody composite they don't have the tinniness that can plague plastic enclosures. Excellent value.0

Like those. Many thanks.-TangleFoot- wrote: »Edifier Aurora then?0 -

Yep, you don't need 'computer speakers'. All you need to do is amplify the output from the headphone jack at the back of your computer. Do you have anything in the house already? Old stereo system, or any of these speakers that you plug into your phone etc?0
