help with boilermate please!!!

i currently bought a house and have found my boiler in the airing cupboard has a strange clock dial to time the central heating to come on and off.the system or the boiler is called boilermate. i have worked out the timer but i cant seem to find the over ride button.there is instructions on how to over ride the heating but i cant find the button anywhere.
is there anyone out there who knows much about boilermates please? :beer:

boilermates are jusy a clever hot water tank. The time clock is used to restrict when the tank can be re-heated. Do you have another thermostat anywhere else in the house?0

there is a thermostat downstairs in the hallway, but thats all.i have managed to find the over ride button it looks nowt like what the instructions look like.i think i am going to fit digital programmer as i cant be a***d mucking about with that dial.its something from the dark ages!!!0
