I am getting the marbles website when visiting http://www.aquacard.co.uk now although that wasn't the case earlier (but was the case using a different non uk IP address)

At the moment visiting http://www.aquacard.co.uk leads to marbles using Firefox and Aqua using Internet ExplorerHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Rightio, to expand on what I think has happened, hopefully I'll get the balance right between too much detail and too simple...
The DNS System is the system used to translate the human-friendly addresses (aquacard.co.uk), to the computer friendly IP addresses (e.g. 127.0.0.1).
This is done by an ISP having a name server storing a table of matchings between the two. It also stores how long to remember the address for before updating (a time to live, or TTL) (because webpages shouldn't change IP often), this is usually set for at least several hours. Your computer will similarly cache addresses.
So, for some reason aqua has changed the IP address on their DNS server. Whether this has propagated to your ISPs server depends entirely on when the record was last updated, and how log it has left to live before it refreshes.
The reason why it has changed to the marbles server without the website being uploaded there, we can only assume incompetence.0 -

What is going on with the site? I don't want to log in bc it looks like scam or virus of some sort. Very unprofessional looking. Mine has changed to Marbles and we live in Northern Ireland. : /0

Nope. It won't let me log in.0

I was given this number: 0845 850 0519 to get their technical team.
As I'm not yet registered (can't; keep geting Marbles) I've not called them, but if anyone wants to give it a go & report back here, we'd all love to know what's going on!
Thanks.0 -

Marbles is a different card run by the same company. For some reason, they managed to mess up the settings to point the aqua site at the marbles server. It has been fixed today, but ISPs and web browsers store a cache, so the easiest thing to do is wait for that to clear.
guesswho2000 posted a link to the aqua login page above. You could use this, but whilst members on here can verify it's correct, you should only do so if you recognise the URL given as the correct one, or can verify it yourself.
[Technical details: aquacard.co.uk now points to 85.232.60.86 for me, last night it was pointing to 85.232.60.83. Which supports my hypothesis above]0 -
I do recognize the URL given above.I went to the link and it says it can't recognize my log-in name. So there is something else going on that people still can't log-in.0
